Questions and answers
Is there really a free plan?
Yes. Every calculator and template is free with no limit and no sign-up, and the cover and interior checkers give 3 full checks a day for free.
When can I buy Pro?
Pro is coming soon. The prices on this page are the prices it will launch at. Until then, the free tools are open to everyone.
Who handles the payment?
Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment, sends your receipt, adds any sales tax or VAT your country requires, and handles billing questions and refunds. KDP Toolkit never sees your card details.
Do prices include tax?
Prices are in US dollars. Where your country charges sales tax or VAT on digital products, Paddle adds it at checkout and shows the total before you pay.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, at any time, from the link in your Paddle receipt email. You keep Pro until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, on your first payment: ask within 14 days and you get it back in full, once per customer. Renewals aren’t refunded, but you can cancel any time before the next one. See the refund policy for details.
Do I need an account?
No. After you buy, you get a license key by email. Enter it on the site to turn on Pro in your browser. There is no password to remember.
Are my files uploaded with Pro?
No. Pro tools run in your browser like the free ones. Your covers and manuscripts never leave your computer.
